Description
TSS have an exciting new career opportunity, for security officers, to work within our Didcot Distribution Centre
Pay rate: £12.00 per hour
Pay rates will vary depending on the site you are assigned to with some sites paying higher than the basic pay advertised.
Officers must be flexible to work a mixture of days/nights, including weekends

What to expect:
- To provide and monitor access and egress from the warehouse. Including searching of personnel as they leave.
- Manage access and egress of vehicles entering via the Gatehouse
- Ensure the safety of persons on site by reporting any Health and Safety breaches found.
- Use of CCTV system as required.
- Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with the appropriate safety guidance and legislation. This includes (but is not limited to) the working time directive and the Health and Safety at work act and The Working Times Regulations Act.
Operational performance
- Ensure that access / egress duties are actioned in line with company targets / KPIs.
- Adhere at all times to company training and processes in the pursuit of your duties.
- To provide excellent customer service skills always remaining courteous and professional.
- Undertake refresher and developmental training as required by your duties.
Data sensitivity
- Data handled as part of this role may be sensitive in nature and therefore must be always dealt with in line with company policy and GDPR regulations.
Relevant skills and experience
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office/ Excel and bespoke systems (training for company systems will be provided)
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must be customer service orientated always demonstrating professionalism and compassion
- Will be able to work under pressure.
- Will need to be a team player but possess the ability to work on own initiative.
General:
- Show a level of flexibility and be able to adapt to new requests outside of the core role on request.
- Ensure all requests are responded to in a timely manner.
- Any other reasonable duties as required by your Line Manager, including reception duties, for which training will be given.
