Description
Resolve Security Solutions Ltd- Night Safety Marshall.
Location: Worthing.
- Part Time.
- Minimum of 16hrs a week.
- £13 per hour, PAYE.
- Accrued holiday pay.

- This position requires candidates to hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.
- Access to EAP (employee assistance program) if required.
- Must be able to supply 5 years of vetting history to comply with standard screening compliance with BS7858.

This successful candidate will be required to work on Friday and Saturday nights.
The shifts will be regular weekly hours patrolling from 1900hrs-0300hrs.
Plus, additional hours in peak business times when the requirement is high.
Training is scheduled for Tuesday 08/10/24 and Wednesday 09/10/24, which is a mandatory requirement for this role.

We are currently recruiting Door Supervisors with at least two years of security experience to join our exciting Night Safety Marshall Scheme.
The Night Safety Marshall Scheme is an initiative aimed at enhancing public safety and confidence, reducing serious violence in high harm areas with early intervention and working in partnership with Sussex Police, local initiatives and businesses to ensure communities feel safe in the night time economy and to reduce demand on the emergency services.
Key Responsibilities:
As an employee with Resolve Security, you will be representing the company’s values whilst out on patrol and often be the first point of contact for members of the public whilst working in this role.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all persons under your duty of care (including customers, staff and public in your area) in accordance with the SIA and licensing standards.
- Patrolling Night time Economy Hotspots.
- Deployed in high visibility uniform, equipped with a night safe radio, body worn video camera, and GPS tracker.
- Conduct high visibility patrols in town centres to reduce serious violence, anti-social behaviour and Violence against women & girls – as an active deterrent.
- Engage positively with the public, prevent low level incidents, gather intelligence, and report incidents to Sussex Police.
- Maintain records of incidents and interactions as per protocol.
- Ensure NSM confidentiality and data protection is maintained.
Vulnerability Reduction and Early Intervention:
- Identify and assist vulnerable individuals (due to intoxication, age, or other factors) in the nighttime economy.
- Liaise with emergency services via radio and manage the situation accordingly.
- Escalate incidents requiring police assistance through appropriate channels.
- Provide support to lone vulnerable persons, including escorting them to Safe Spaces or approved locations.
- Deal with sensitive issues showing empathy in complex and highly emotive situations.
- Respond to emergencies or potential risks involving threat to life with quick thinking and a calm demeanour.
- Provide assistance without judgement, regardless of the individuals circumstances.
- Recognise signs of vulnerability, such as intoxications, drug use, disorientation, or potential exploitation.
Crime Reduction and Incident/Intel Reporting:
- Identify and report low level public order incidents via reporting protocols.
- Use conflict management skills and de-escalation techniques to intervene verbally in suitable situations.
- Maintain a safe distance from serious public disorder or violence, capturing evidence via body worn video, call for police support.
- Report serious incidents directly to police officers for intervention.
- Record all intelligence and incidents using the mobile device app via reporting software.
Management and Reporting:
- Ensure all incidents and intelligence reports are detailed, accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
- Participate in regular briefings and debriefings with supervisors.
- Adhere to information security and management protocols for incident reporting.
- Ensuring all relevant incident information is logged, recorded and handed over before end of shift.
People Management and Development:
- Demonstrate a commitment to improve skill levels and knowledge by
participation in appropriate training and learning opportunities.
- Responsible for maintaining own professional development including being
aware of new developments within the sphere of the role.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties commensurate with the role and
delegated or requested by the manager or supervisor, as the needs of the
service require.

basis in accordance with the changing needs of the NSM Scheme and RSS.
- Guide and direct team members with less experience at incidents.
- Work with other staff members effectively to ensure a coordinated response to any situation.
