 Staying perceptive and not letting your focus fade away for long periods of time are what make a CCTV Operator great. Remember, your job is to notice and prevent crimes before they happen as much as possible.

 Main Duties and Responsibilities

•  Monitoring and controlling cameras, video recording equipment, and access control systems in a proactive and reactive manner
• Work closely with site security officers to ensure the safety and security of the premises, customers, and colleagues
• Monitoring and operating the CCTV system, which includes cameras and radio equipment
•  Viewing and responding to images from CCTV cameras, radio, and other information sources

 Requirements 

• A Valid SIA Licence - CCTV licence 
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Ability to deter anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activities
• Must be reliable and punctual
