Newmarket Events SIA and Stewards (Starting in April)

Job description

SGC are looking for reliable and dedicated individuals to join our team at Newmarket Racecourse throughout the 2025 racing season. We are hiring SIA Guards and Stewards.

Working as an SIA or Steward you are playing a huge part, ensuring that the event is running smoothly and to ensure that the public are having an excellent experience you will be asked to do some of the following:

- Customer Service

- Fire Procedures

- Crowd Safety

- Disability Access

You will also need:

• Level 2 Spectator Safety - SGC May be able to do this on a funded scheme, however, this could come at a charge.
• ACT - Free of Charge
• First Aid At Work - This is required for all SIA Guards.
• Drink Spiking Awareness – Free of charge

We have a dedicated Training Department at SGC Security Services who will be happy to help you with your enrolment and completion of any courses you require and discuss costs with you.

We also have opportunities to work other events around the area, Hertfordshire and London. 

Shifts for 6-hour min- 10-hour max

Contract running - April - November (opportunity to continue with other Events after this date)

Salary: TBC
