SIA Licenced Officer

Are you an SIA Licenced Security Officer looking for a new opportunity?

SGC Security Services are hiring an SIA Licenced Officer to work on a reception as part of a team.

Due to the nature of the contract, you must hold a valid SIA DS or SG licence and a CCTV licence and have at least 1 years’ experience. 

Job Specification

• The Security Officers are responsible for opening and closing the building, including setting, and un-setting the alarm.
• Excellent communication, organisation, professional appearance, and people skills.
• Answering phone calls, emails, receiving post and courier deliveries
• Point of contact for building faults and queries from site staff.
• The Security Officers must wear a uniform and be of smart appearance.
• Meet and Greet service for any visitors attending site, ensuring fire procedures are clearly explained.
• Management of Symmetry Access Control system, including issuing and collecting passes for staff, contractors, and visitors.
• Management of car parking spaces.
• Regular security patrols of the site, internal and external
• Reporting of building, maintenance, and security faults
• Monitoring of the CCTV system.
• Any other Security / Reception duties that may arise and are reasonably requested.

Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 18:00 and Friday 07:00 – 17:00 week 1

Monday to Thursday 09:00 – 20:00 and Friday 10:00 – 20:00 week 2
