Professional Door Supervisor in the Clapham Area

We are keen to speak with experienced SIA Door Supervisors looking to work in the Clapham area, who want regular work, in established venues, earning competitive rates of pay.

Ideal candidates will be professional, take a pride in their appearance and have good customer service skills enabling them to interact with a range of clients and customers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• You will be stationed at the venue's entrance, screening customers for suitability
• Ensure customer is not under the age of 21 or in possession of any dangerous substances or things, such as drugs or weapons
• Controlling entry and exit route
• Screening and searching for customers
• Check I.D of customers and conduct bag checks 
• Crowd control
• Supervising customer arrivals
• Customer management to maintain a safe environment within the venue
• Prevent theft and any violence at the venue
• Respond to any emergency at the venue and deal with any conflict in an appropriate manner if required

Applicant Requirements

• A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor licence
• Excellent communication skills with proven customer service experience
• Have experience working in bars & clubs as a Door Supervisor
• Be reliable and confident
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations calmly
• Right to work in the UK
