Retail Security Officer - Kensington/Piccadilly/Chelsea

Professional Security are currently seeking SIA Licensed Retail security officers to work in our clients natural and organic food stores across London.

***  Applicants must hold a valid SIA Licence****

• Retail/customer service experience
• Preferred – 1yr experience in security
• Part-time position, leading to full-time
• Must be able to cover weekends

Role: Retail security officer

Location: Kensington/Piccadilly/Chelsea

Pay rate : £13.10phr

Hours - Varied throughout the week, must have weekend availability 

Job description:

1. To provide a friendly and helpful greeting to all customers.  Dressed smartly, approachable and with good communication skills.
2. Help to keep a welcoming and safe atmosphere to staff and visitors.  
3. Using conflict management and customer care to diffuse and de-escalate situations.
4. Working with the store management team to keep them informed of any problems.  
5. Maintain accurate records of incidents that may occur.
6. Using proactive patrols and patrol patterns for prevention, observation and deterrence of crime within the store.

Essential Experience

1. Applicants must hold a valid SIA Licence. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider applications from non-licence holders.

Preferred Experience

1. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
2. Knowledge of retail crime.
3. Customer service background.
