Security Officer

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and vigilant SIA-licensed Security Officer to support  Conferences hosted off-site due to refurbishment at One Angel Square. This is an important safeguarding role requiring a calm and confident presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a visible presence at the reception area during CPCs.
• Support meeting Chairs by de-escalating situations involving agitated or upset attendees.
• Assist in removing individuals if required and prevent re-entry.
• Call Police assistance when necessary.
• Maintain punctual attendance (on-site and ready by 9am daily).
• Work alongside staff and follow alert protocols (alarm system will be provided).

Candidate Requirements:

• Must hold a valid SIA license.
• De-escalation training and experience essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Dependable, with good time management.

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience in public-facing roles, especially in sensitive or emotionally charged environments.
• Familiarity with safeguarding or multi-agency settings.
