Retail Security Officer

Hourly Rate: £10.75

Shift Pattern: Weekday & weekend shifts available. Monday – Friday 10:00-20:00 or Saturday 09:00 - 20:00 and Sunday 10:00 - 18:00

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a friendly greeting to all customers
• Provide support to the in store team when dealing with thefts and major incidents
• Ensure the safety and security of people, premises and property
• Ensure the store is secure & protected from flood, Damage, fire & theft at all times
• Conduct internal patrols of the store, providing reassurances to the in store team
• Maintain an accurate record of any incidents that occur escalating accordingly where required
• Comply with all data protection regulations regarding all information accessed during the course of duty
• To ensure you maintain a calm & professional manner at all times
• To ensure that all aspects such as evacuations, security alerts & public disorder are attended to in accordance with training received
• Liaise where necessary with the local authorities to enhance the Security image of the store and outlet
• To carry out any other security related tasks the client may request

Person Specification:

• Personal presentation of a very high standard
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in a customer facing role
• Good Organisational skills
• Own transport
• Computer literate
• High level of professionalism
• Reliable with excellent time keeping and attendance
• Ability to use initiative and be adaptable
• Ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team
