Description
DOOR SUPERVISOR (Various sites available in Essex)
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- A SIA Door Supervisor covering venues across Essex and the surrounding areas
- Someone who can be flexible with hours and possesses a full driving licence.
- This includes working at events throughout the year, Including parades, festivals, pubs, bars, restaurants, art galleries and Boxing Events.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
- From £13.00 per hour for all hours worked.
- NEST Pension
- Up to 28 days holiday, inclusive of bank holidays
- Statutory Sick Pay.

- A minimum of 5 hours guaranteed per assigned shift
- Flexible Hours and roles
Shift Times - Various shift patterns and hours available
Overtime available for different roles and venues/sites
WHAT WILL WE EXPECT IN RETURN?
- As a Door Supervisor you will ensure that the safety & security of customers and the relevant venue is your main priority. Any confrontational situations should be dealt with & reported in a professional manner.
- You should have excellent customer service skills, as well as great communication for both reporting with management & handling sensitive scenarios.
- This is a full-time role which will include covering security gaps across the area detailed, whether that be known as a holiday or ad-hoc absence cover for existing officers. As such, you must be flexible when it comes to working arrangements and sites covered.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- For you to hold a valid and in date SIA Licence
- Approachable and well presented
- Good verbal communication skills
- A great eye for detail, with high personal standards.
- Punctuality and a desire to succeed.
- An ability to work autonomously, whilst ensuring your line manager is kept updated on progress.
ABILITY TO COMMUTE
Driving licence and own transport is desirable in this role due to the locations of the sites and venues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Controlling entry and exit route
- Customer management to maintain a safe environment within the venue
- Crowd control
- Supervising customer arrivals
- Carrying out ID checks
- Screening and searching individuals
- Be a highly visible and proactive security presence
- Meet and greet staff and visitors and be the first point of contact for any issues
- Ensure a positive customer experience for all visitors/customers
- First responder when incidents need investigating
