Retail Security Officer

NEXT LEVEL SECURITY SERVICES are a SIA approved security provider with a Pace setter status. We are looking to employ a full time security officer who has experience in the retail sector and can provide a quality service to a well known supermarket in York.

• A valid SIA Licence essential
• The position is permanent 40hours per week . Working pattern Monday - Sunday, 5 days over 7.
• You must demonstrate your previous security experience and have excellent communication skills with a willingness to be flexible.
• Have an understanding of ASCONE
• Uniform and site- specific training will be provided to the chosen candidate.

Main Duties:

Be approachable when welcoming clients and customers

Always provide a polite and excellent customer service

Protect customers and colleagues from physical and verbal abuse, also deterring violence and public order offences.

Respond to any on site incident or request for assistance and assume control until arrival of the Client, Emergency Services or Duty Manager

Reporting to the Security Operations Manager, recording, reporting and escalating all incidents.
