CCTV Night Security Officer

THE ROLE:

• Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and other security equipment
• Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the
• Respond to alarms and incidents, including emergencies and disturbances
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
• Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
• Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts

About you:

• Must have a valid CCTV license
• Previous experience in security
• Customer service experience
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Good standard of written & spoken English

Must-haves:

• Checkable 5-year employment history
• Current SIA badge CCTV Operator – Desirable
• Current SIA badge Door Supervisor / Front Line
• First Aid at Work Certificate – Desirable

Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.
