Security Officer Ipswich

Role:

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems to prevent unauthorized activities.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Provide assistance to visitors, employees, and contractors.
• Enforce access control procedures and verify identification.
• Conduct facility inspections to identify security risks.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Strong observation and surveillance skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures (desirable).
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical fitness for extended standing/walking.

Licences/Certifications:

• Checkable 5-year employment history.
• SIA badge (CCTV Operator, Door Supervisor/Front Line).
• First Aid at Work Certificate (desirable).
• Driving Licence (preferred).
