Shift Scheduler/Control Room Operator

Oracle Security Services are pleased to offer an exciting new opportunity for a shift scheduler/control room operator, to join our rapidly growing company based in Ilford.

Duties will include, but not limited to:-

• Booking staff on & off via our live system;
• Taking calls from clients to schedule staff to work (often at late notice);
• Finalising/confirming end of shift times on our live system;
• Taking calls from staff who may have issues on shift;
• Creating rotas for venues and events on our live system.

Ideal candidates will, therefore need to demonstrate:-

• Good communications skills;
• Experience within the security industry & hold a valid SIA licence (Door Supervisor/Close Protection);
• PROVEN experience working in a control room/as a security shift scheduler;
• Good IT skills (including Excel) and the ability to pick up the C247 & Guardhouse live system;
• High level of accuracy/attention to detail;
• Pro active approach to work;
• Positive working attitude;
• The ability to multi-task (VERY IMPORTANT!!)

The control room is open 24 hours a day, so shifts will be a on a rotation basis, including weekdays, weekends, days, evenings & nights.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A CCTV CONTROL ROOM POSITION. This is a 95% rota scheduling position, so proven experience of staff scheduling and emergency, last minute placements is essential.
