License Requirement: SIA Licence and CCTV Licence

Education: GCSE or Higher

Language: Must be fluent in English

Shift Pattern: Nights, Days and weekends, 12-hour shifts.

Pay rate: £11.40 per hour.

 

Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to provide relief on various sites across Bradford and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will have a valid front line SIA licence and CCTV licence, valid UK driving licence and vehicle, a friendly demeanour and excellent communication skills and will be flexible in their approach to provide relief for security teams at various sites in the region.

The Area Security Officer role would suit those with excellent interpersonal skills and who wish to develop skills as a security officer. Must be able to travel across a 10–15-mile radius in the area.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Providing security at a variety of sites across an area.

· Maintaining a safe and secure always environment

· Ensuring safe access to the building.

· Carrying out patrols/hazard reporting etc. as requested.

· Ensuring all Health & Safety policies are adhered to.

· Completing all necessary reports in line with company documentation.

· Access/ Egress control.

· Monitoring of alarms & CCTV system.

· Key Holding responsibilities.

· Controlling and monitoring access to the car parks.

· General refuse management & ensuring overall tidiness on site.

· Provide a high standard of customer service.

· Be polite, helpful, and diligent, with a ‘can do’ ethos.

· Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations.

· General cleaning and upkeep of the site.
