Out of Hours Security Guard Services at Port of Liverpool Building, Brunswick Street, Liverpool.  Night shifts (1730x0530). Occasional day shifts. 36 Hour Per week.

Poseidon Risk and Security seeks to recruit an SIA qualified Security Guard to support our Out of Hours security and concierge services at the Port of Liverpool Building, Mann Island, Liverpool, L3 1BP. 

The role will be on for 36 hours per week and will provide support to the core staff, and additionally will provide resilience cover over periods of staff absence, and during times where additional security guards are required to support activities within the building.  The role is competitively paid and would suit someone who is looking to transition into our organisation as we grow.

Successful candidates will be professional, highly articulate in spoken and written English.  They will be well presented and be able to demonstrate their commitment to the delivery of high-quality professional guarding services within a corporate environment. The SIA CCTV qualification would be desirable. 

The Port of Liverpool Building is known as one of Liverpool's 'Three Graces' and occupies a prominent position on the city's iconic historic waterfront.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Provision of out of hours SIA security guarding services at the Port of Liverpool Building, Mann Island, Liverpool, L3 1BP.
• Night shifts working 1730 to 0530, with opportunity for occasional weekend day shifts, Bank Holiday cover and support during busy operational periods. 
• Monitoring of building alarms and CCTV.  
• Electronic access control and remote door entry monitoring.
• Mobile security and safety patrols within the building.
• Issuing and recovery of keys from building clients and contractors.
• Other security related activities as required.
• Successful applicants are required to remain awake and diligent through their entire shifts.  The role is lone working.
