Head Doorman - Mayfair

KD Security is one of the fastest growing private security companies in the UK and we are looking for enthusiastic, committed Door Supervisors to join us on our journey.

We provide door staff to over 150 venues across the capital, including some world-famous music venues. We offer competitive hourly rates and have lots of regular shifts available for the right people. As we take on more venues, we will be looking to promote staff to Head DS positions from within our existing teams, and we like to reward good leaders accordingly.

Job Overview

As a Door Supervisor, you will ensure the safety of staff and customers, as well as protect assets within the clients' business and provide excellent customer service.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Stationed at the building's entrance, screening visitors for suitability.
• Controlling access to VIP Areas.
• Ensure the visitor is not under the age of 18 or in possession of any dangerous substances or things, such as drugs or weapons
• Controlling entry and exit route
• Customer management to maintain a safe environment within the venue
• Crowd control
• Supervising customer arrivals
• Carrying out ID checks
• Screening and searching for individuals

Requirements

• A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor Licence - Essential
• A good level of spoken English- Essential
• Minimum 4 years of experience
• Have excellent communication skills and be customer service focused
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Be reliable and confident
• Ability to tackle emergency situations
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 10-60 per week

Salary: £15.00-£18.00 per hour, depending on experience and the role.
