Security Apprentice

We are looking for someone who wants to learn whilst they earn, our security apprenticeship program offers a complete training experience that will prepare you for a successful career in the Security industry. You'll work alongside experienced professionals and learn the ins and outs of the security industry, from risk assessments to crisis management.

With our program, you'll gain practical experience in a variety of security tasks, such as CCTV operation, access control, patrols, and emergency response. You'll also have the opportunity to become a future Security Leader within CIS Security Ltd.

Key duties & tasks could be:

• Working on site on a broad range of sectors and industries
• Working 12-hour shifts – days & nights
• Responsible for the basic security duties as well as shadowing and learning from our experienced employees
• Customer service - welcoming and greeting visitors
• Patrolling internally & externally
• Excellent organisation skills with ability to work on own initiative
• Prevention of loss, fire, and damage to clients’ property
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact with others
• Flexible to meet the needs of the service
• Adaptable to change and new ways of working
• Providing feedback on your journey & any initiatives you may have

Requirements:

• An interest in Security services and committed to achieving an SIA licence.
• Between the age of 18 - 28 years old
• Maths & English GCSEs grades A to C/ 9 to 4 / functionals skills or the equivalent
• Keen to learn on the job
• To be literate with good communication skills
• To be comfortable with using IT
• Strong attention to detail and a practical hand on approach
• Ability to communication effectively and be a team player
• Ability to be flexible and respond to the unexpected
