City Protection officer

Elite Security Group currently have a rare opportunity to join our City Protection Officer team.

• The vacancy is for both  Full time & Part time position in Gloucester.
• The Full time will average 40 hours per week on a rolling roster and the Part-Time Position will average at least 16 hours per week with the option to work more.
• The Part Time position covers the CPO operation every Friday & Saturday with the additional hours spread over seven days per week on a rolling roster which will be confirmed by the Contract Supervisor.
• 2 Years minimum security industry experience required.
• The role requires the experienced security professionals to provide a uniformed presence patrolling the BID area in a systematic manner, seven days a week.
• The CPO's must be experienced security operatives who are SIA approved ideally with both their DS & CCTV Licences, current first-aid trained and have experience of security work in a city-centre environment. They must also be familiar with using a City Safe radio, the City Safe DISC website and be IT literate.

The Officers will work in pairs and the duty times will be flexible according to the operational requirements.

• CPO's must carry a City Safe radio, a mobile telephone and be available whilst on duty for BID businesses to make direct contact.

The CPOs will be required to wear body worn cameras and use when appropriate to record incidents.

• CPOs will attend relevant additional training provided by the BID
