We recently started using GuardPass to help recruit our in house Loss Prevention vacancies, we were shocked by how many applicants we got compared to the other ways we advertise roles. GuardPass is incredibly easy to use to advertise jobs and to go through applicants, the team at GuardPass are also really quick to respond to any queries and suggestions to improve the user experience.
We started working with GuardPass in October 2023 to advertise our Guarding positions because we found that we weren’t getting the quality or volume we needed from Indeed. The video introductions from Guards make our sourcing process so much easier as we can assess if we think the candidate is going to be the right fit for the role before we interview. In addition, their new vetting service, GuardCheck, has also been an incredible addition to their security one-stop-shop service; they were even able to provide a full BS7858 vetting check in just under 24 hours, which is incredible and really helped us with our urgent staffing needs. And a big thanks to Will Cooper who goes above and beyond to make sure both our GuardPass and GuardCheck accounts run smoothly.

Having struggled to recruit quality security staff on other platforms, GuardPass has been an absolute Godsend. I would spend hours trawling applications and wasting time on calling interested individuals, who 9 times out of 10 would be unsuitable for the role because of poor communication skills and/or not speaking English fluently. Often the people who presented well on the telephone would come for and interview, and still not fit the bill because their stature, confidence and tidiness fell below the required standard. With profile pictures and the introductory videos, I can get a much better “feel” for the candidate before I even pick up the phone, meaning I don’t waste my time speaking to people I’d not even consider employing. The CV search is also a handy tool, and allows me to actively search out individuals near the venues I need to cover, particularly useful when looking for female staff. The cost of our subscription is more than offset by the savings made by allowing me and my team to spend less time on recruitment

With approximately 800 staff at 1,500 sites across the UK to manage, we have had to resort to booking through external security training companies from time to time, but it’s just not been a fluid experience. Get Licensed was different – providing a great platform that is really easy to use, allowing us to book security training at scale with clear visibility of costs and location availability. Get Licensed also combines First Aid training with SIA Top-up training, which was a real game changer for us. This saved us a lot of time – with staff attending one training course instead of the usual two, and money – with fewer staff absences due to training, as well as the cost of two separate courses being higher than the one. I couldn’t recommend using the Get Licensed platform highly enough.
