What I like the best about GuardPass: Simplicity, tailored purely for SIA licence holders, being able to review video profiles of security officers, helpful team, and large volume of officers already using the app. There has been some minor tweaking on the journey for better user experience, however Guardpass have taken feedback on positively and with speed – adjusting areas required.
As a training provider of SIA Qualifications, we regularly advise cohorts of learners to use GuardPass as an additional form of learning, revision and additional knowledge based learning. The feedback we get is always exceptional surrounding the ease of use, content within and the confidence it helps those joining the industry achieve.
Guard Pass is an excellent platform for connecting SIA Licensed professionals with job opportunities. Its user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate for both candidates and employers.
Very strong database of candidates in areas of density, however a lack of candidates in locations where most employers within the industry will be struggling to recruit. However, I appreciate that the board/database is still pretty new to the industry. Guard Pass provides us a quicker turn around time due to candidates already being SIA Licensed which is a great benefit.
I have been using guardpass for over a year. It has been a big contribution towards my success in managing a large scale business. My favourite feature of Guardpass is you can have a preview of candidates before you’ve even contacted them by viewing the video they upload for the employers. I can rely on Guardpass to recruit for areas that can be difficult to cover. I’ve had better luck than when I’ve used indeed for the same purpose.
Guardpass has quicker response times, which helps us as we book many courses and need support with queries on a daily basis. The service is extremely efficient, you can book a course in a matter of minutes and easily add first aid. It is streamlined and very easy to use. After booking, I like that I can keep track of the results of my bookings and also their Corporate Team is on hand to support with any queries. We communicate with Nisar Ahmed often, and he is fantastic.

We recently started using GuardPass to help recruit our in house Loss Prevention vacancies, we were shocked by how many applicants we got compared to the other ways we advertise roles. Having struggled to recruit quality security staff on other platforms, GuardPass has been an absolute Godsend. I would spend hours trawling applications and wasting time on calling interested individuals, who 9 times out of 10 would be unsuitable for the role because of poor communication skills and/or not speaking English fluently. Often the people who presented well on the telephone would come for and interview, and still not fit the bill because their stature, confidence and tidiness fell below the required standard. With profile pictures and the introductory videos, I can get a much better “feel” for the candidate before I even pick up the phone, meaning I don’t waste my time speaking to people I’d not even consider employing. The CV search is also a handy tool, and allows me to actively search out individuals near the venues I need to cover, particularly useful when looking for female staff. The cost of our subscription is more than offset by the savings made by allowing me and my team to spend less time on recruitment

With approximately 800 staff at 1,500 sites across the UK to manage, we have had to resort to booking through external security training companies from time to time, but it’s just not been a fluid experience. Get Licensed was different – providing a great platform that is really easy to use, allowing us to book security training at scale with clear visibility of costs and location availability. Get Licensed also combines First Aid training with SIA Top-up training, which was a real game changer for us. This saved us a lot of time – with staff attending one training course instead of the usual two, and money – with fewer staff absences due to training, as well as the cost of two separate courses being higher than the one. I couldn’t recommend using the Get Licensed platform highly enough.
