patrol Officer

We are seeking motivated and community-focused individuals to join our Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Hotspot Policing Teams in Elmbridge and Runnymede. These roles are crucial in providing a visible presence, engaging with the public, and supporting community safety during the winter period.

Position 1: Hotspot 2 – Elmbridge

• Location: The Heart Shopping Centre, Elmbridge boundaries .
• Shift Days: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
• Duration: 3 Months from 16/12/2024
• Shift Times: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
• Duties:
  • Conduct patrols in pairs.
  • Engage positively with youths and members of the public.
  • Collect and record intelligence on designated forms.

Position 2: Hotspot 3 – Runnymede

• Location: Surrey Towers and Station Road, Addlestone boundaries .
• Shift Days: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
• Duration: 3 Months from 16/12/2024.
• Shift Times: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
• Duties:
  • Conduct patrols in pairs.
  • Engage positively with youths and members of the public.
  • Collect and record intelligence on designated forms.

Key Requirements

• Attention to Detail: Intelligence forms must include the following:
  • Hotspot location.
  • Date and times of patrol.
  • Summary of patrol activity.
  • Number of public engagements.
  • Number of incidents attended.
  • Patrol officer details.
  • Additional comments or feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with the public.
• Ability to interact positively with individuals of all ages.
• Keen observation and reporting abilities.
• Commitment to promoting community safety and reducing anti-social behaviour.
