Perform security-related tasks while offering a welcoming and helpful presence to employees & visitors, in a professional manner, effectively fulfilling your role as Front-of-House security professional with concierge duties.
Job Overview
A Front House Officer is responsible for ensuring that personnel and guests have a positive first impression of the venue. As the first point of contact, you will be expected to be friendly and welcoming when guests/staff arrive or leave.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Greeting and Welcoming: As employees and visitors arrive, greet them warmly with a smile and friendly demeanor.
- Offer assistance with directions, providing information about the building layout, facilities, and amenities.
- Ensure a positive first impression by being approachable and attentive to their needs.
- Verify the identity of individuals entering the premises through appropriate identification procedures.
- Monitor access points, ensuring only authorized personnel gain entry.
- Politely enforce security protocols, such as badge checks or sign-in procedures.
- Remain alert to any suspicious behaviour or unauthorized activities, intervening promptly if necessary.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter potential security breaches.
- Be prepared to respond calmly and efficiently in the event of emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security threats.
- Provide clear guidance to employees and visitors on evacuation procedures and assembly points.
- Locker management working with the Facilities Management Team
- Work with the Clients teams/departments to ensure all aspects of the Security are covered and adhered to
- Monitoring of Surveillance equipment to observe the property, detect suspicious activities, and identify potential security threats.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies, coordinate evacuations, contact emergency services, and ensure a calm and organised response.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, security incidents, and unusual occurrences essential for audits and investigations.
Requirements
- A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor Licence / Security Guard Licence
- Full Clean Driving Licence
- Good communication skills
- Computer Literate
- Good organisation and multi-tasking skills
