Corporate Security Officer

Role: £14.31 p/h, This role has a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, 07:00 - 19:00 days only, front of house corporate security.

Location: the site is located 10 minutes away from Kings Cross tube station

Joining our team, the Security Officer will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective front-of-house security service for our client.

Job description:

· Ensure the safety and security of our client's building and asset

· To meet and greet all visitors, and staff promptly, using the correct protocols

· Ensure that each visitor feels special and cared for

· Ensure those who should not be granted access to the building are professionally and politely prevented from gaining access

· Patrol premises to maintain order and establish the presence and use of surveillance equipment

· Ensure that you read and adhere to the requirements detailed in the Assignment Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures

· Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the                     situation following the AI's

· Ensure a comprehensive handover occurs between shifts, and effectively communicate shift reports and briefings

· To manage and monitor Staff Access and reception duties

· Report any issues to the supervisor and the manager

Person Specification:

· Corporate experience (at least 5 years)

· Computer Literate is a MUST

· Excellent verbal and written English

· Excellent radio communication

· Excellent customer service skills

· Immaculate personal appearance is a MUST

· Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise             activities

· Excellent report-writing and analytical skills with attention to           detail

· Good organisational and time management skills

· A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on                     challenges

· Ensure their post is correctly manned at the specific times

· Be proactive and a team player

· Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information

· Capable of following written and verbal instructions                           unsupervised

· Able to deal with pressures/unexpected situations/emergencies
