CCTV Operator

 Job Purpose

 The purpose is monitor CCTV activations and action as appropriate.

 Job Overview

 Staying perceptive and not letting your focus fade away for long periods of time are what make a CCTV Operator great. Remember, your job is to notice and prevent crimes before they happen as much as possible.

 Main Duties and Responsibilities

•  Monitoring and controlling cameras, video recording equipment, and access control systems in a proactive and reactive manner
• Work closely with site security officers to ensure the safety and security of the premises, customers, and colleagues
• Monitoring and operating the CCTV system, which includes cameras and radio equipment
•  Viewing and responding to images from CCTV cameras, radio, and other information sources
• Writing reports and liaising with patrol and guard staff

 Requirements 

• A Valid SIA Licence - CCTV licence 
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Previous Immix experience is beneficial but not essential as training can be given for the right candidate
